1.- The known world of Vhaldaria Only wise men can make an educated guess of when vhaldari stopped walking as nomads and their race become a civilization, but even a commoner can agree with them thinking it was more than 5000 kalendas ago, with the born of several proto-empires. Everyone agree that also, beneath the smoky ruins of what it was an advanced culture, the first vhaldari tribe organized themselves to wander on Vhaldaria and rise their first civilization integrating scattered people into families and other groups, with the goal of stopping violence, unifying their strength to make a sufficiently consolidated community. Inspired from this combination of the Great Spirit Kara Lamto teachings, the rise of the four proto-empires in the Known World happened: Noridia, Orientalia, Suravia and Okzidentalia. The denomination of Known World or Solmundo is the territory of the lands mapped from the Great Sea of the Mist at the east to Finisthelos on the west and from the old kingdom of Noridia at the north to the land of the Duke on the far south, Suravia. The Known World begins and ends on the Haze Mantle, a giant wall of wind, cold and darkness impossible to penetrate by any living creature and this exist since vhaldari have memory.
1.1.- Noridia’s proto-empire The first king that Noridia had was Kenai of Noridia. He lived for more than 300 kalendas and helped to expand the empire through all the north territory of Nordalu. During his life, he had 27 children. The older ones ruled with wisdom after his death, but at the twelfth generation, under Niraz III command, the empire was divided by four of his eleven descendants betrayed him. Those times were especially rough due to the excessive number of children of the old emperor and nobility wanted to have the fountain of youth under their control and exclusive dominions for themselves. This ambition leaded to an internal war in the empire which ended divided in little dominions, leaving the continent with a mixture of different kingdoms and free lands.
1.1.1.- The House of Krestel The rebellion of the elder city of Kultmar lead to Kristal Molinera to become in the first female ruler of the kingdom to which named Krestel, inspired on the name of the new duchess. This counted with strong allies that helped to expand the small duchy into a real kingdom. With Mazram I, the kingdom fell into a deep crisis that could have cost its position on the map, and then one of the nobles challenged her into a strength duel between the supporting nobility and the detractors. Finally, Mazram I was victor and executed the traitos, but her poor governance and clumsy administration were reconstructed by her daughter Iraiel, which became queen of Krestel above his firstborn brother. Marzam IV, as the great-grandson of Iraiel of Krestel, is the current king and is ruling by the wisdom his ancestors gave him. Mazram IV vowed to Isobella II and had four descendants which, from old to young, are: Darkos, Suén, Swomi and Odonel. Darkos of Krestel is to be the main heir of the crown and has been raised with the strict teachings of his great-great grandmother, Iraiel. Kind but with a temper, he protects his siblings and follows his father on administrating security on the kingdom. Suén of Krestel is the second son. Intelligent and loyal, he assists his father and brother on the economy and resources management of the kingdom, being a magnificent scribe and mathematician. Swomi of Krestel is the third reliant and proud daughter of the royalty. She uses her charisma and political knowledge to the kingdom service to get peace beyond the borders. Odonel of Krestel is the youngest. Affectionate and playful, with just 24 kalendas, he studies natural sciences and relic magic. The kingdom preserves a diplomatic and knowledge based tendency, trying to lead a welfare state to the dwellers. Slavery is eliminated.
1.2.- Nordalu’s climate The continent of Nordalu is extensive and its orography is old, like a soft and balanced weather. Towards the interior, the heat makes the land to be enveloped into a tempered and tropical weather and the leafiness of its forest preserves a lot of humidity, causing mild rains frequently. At the coastal zone it can be found calmed coves and paradisiac beaches, having an oceanic weather, much fresher without any alteration during kalendas and rarely is affected by sea storms or typhoons. In general, in the whole continent, the temperature oscillates between 15 to 32 degrees. 1.1.2.- House of Deltoria {unknown information}
1.3.- Stars and moons Vhaldari doesn’t venerate stars. Their thinking focuses on the great spirits of the demiurges rather than on astrological elements. The bright star that illuminates the planet is called Aurolius, due to its shininess similar to the gold. This assimilation of the name comes from antiquity. Vhaldaria’s moons are Vegetablia, the big one, and Mineralia, the little one. Vegetablia derives its name due to vegetation reacting on peculiars ways depending on the position of it; On the other hand, Mineralia is based on a popular tale about trapped miners that, while underground, they found a place where the light of this moon entered through a crack, which it helped them to found a way out to safety. 1.4.- Other known races Aside of the animals, vhaldari are very considerate towards plants and they do not hesitate on blessing any event that involved scarifying lives to their own survival. However, aside of this races, there are others conscious species that vhaldari share the planet. 1.4.1.- Akridos These are insect-shaped creatures with a hive-like thinking. There is a vast amount of people that are under the rule of someone called Queen of the Deep. Little to no vhaldari managed to escape alive from the akridos’ nests, and those who did, remember those holes and tunnels as death and despair. Kahj’s magions claim that akridos’ duty is the population control of vhaladi when this is excessive. Scholars relate this over akridos agglomeration near villages with a great number in population, which they attack in an even great number. A sign of knowing this creatures’ presence is looking a city covered by big walls. The origin of this creatures recalls from the proto empires era. The frist sights of them were near Okzidentalia lands, when during the Nomad Age had not even ended. It seems that, underground, they extend their tunnels all over the Known World, feeding on fruits and diverse creature’s meat, between then, the vhaldari. 1.4.2.- Norm The size of a norm is almost of a pinky of a civibelos vhaldari. This creatures feed on fruits and their thinking is like a community. They look like a bee and their abdomen can light at will. Vhaldari found shining hives that amazed them to know the bodies of the creatures inhabited those hives could emanate light whenever they liked. By gathering together, they managed to generate enough light to illuminate properly any house. To the norm, finding strong creatures as the vhaldari, they feel protection to finally enforce their hives. From this exchange is where norms give light to any vhaldari who protected them. 1.4.3.- Moggul About the size up to the knee of a civibelos and with a look of a sort of reptile-amphibian, these are the moggul. Although their non-evolved appearance, thei have a sence of community. They have two big fangs which they use to defend themselves, although not venomous, the bite could be very painful for a civibelos. These creatures favorite treat are norm, but they also feed on insects, little mammals, mushrooms and river fishes. This race is considered as a scourge by vhaldari, like as a parasitic race for their cities. However, moggul urban nuclei that are far from there are better treated because of their behavior which, instead of dirty thieves, these show a more honorable lifestyle. Moggul have a knack for finding hidden riches on muds, forgotten places and exploring relics.
